Note: This middle-aged woman came in for a facelift and lower lid blepharoplasty consult. She had rather good quality facial skin. Around the neck area, there was a mild excess of fatty deposits with some jowling. She had a mild descent of cheek fat. Her lower eyelids had thinner and crepe-like skin. She had good elasticity of the lower eyelids. She had lower eyelid blepharoplasty with moderate fat and conservative skin resection. She also had a facelift with SMAS layer tightening. Note: This patient came in desiring correction for her sagging lower face and neck. An operation was planned to lift her jowls, neck, and do fat injections into some of the deeper facial wrinkles. This patients' chief goal was to not look operated or 'done' and to have a natural result where people could not tell she had an operation. She wanted to avoid the 'windswept' look and is happy with her natural look, thinner and tighter neck, with no more jowling.
